Anchor Accessories

The strength and security of a personal fall protection system is completely dependent on all of its parts. Anchors are an indispensable part of fall protection systems for they have to be able to withstand a minimum weight of 5,000 pounds per worker. Anchor accessories for fall protection need to be robust, reliable and have the ability to withstand heavy weights for considerably lengths of time. Some important anchor accessories include an armadillo for sliding the lanyard at the proper angle, permanent anchor points, pin assembly systems, anchor flashing, swivels and bolts. Fall protection anchor points are usually installed on roofs, trusses or beams, or in concrete and provide a fixed anchor point for connecting lanyards.
